IFS Front springs Liffted
my mate is looking at buying a ifs 95 lux, just looking about what the options are about lifting the front suspension..... any info would be good

Is an opinion

If you do buy an IFS hilux, the suspension does not haver springs as such, they are replaced by torsion bars. If you are not adding any weight to thr front - bullbars, winch and such, then when you replace the spring in the rear to lift you can have a tyre place wind up your torsion bars and give you a wheel alignment.
If you are adding weight to the front, you can do the same but would probably be better off getting some after market torsion bars.
hophoar is right, my IFS goes great with a rear air locker, and the right line, works best with heaps of weight in the rear tray though.
the rear is easy to get bigger rubber, am doing an axle/spring spacer block soon plus extended shackle to fit bigger tyres and looks better.
this weekend doing a 50mm body lift to help clear 33inch BFG muddies or Extreem Treckers, shouldnt be a problem then.
whats the go with the knuckle joint spacer?? any threads to show whats required? any help would be great.
Thanks.
