hey mitsu guys i am looking for a L200 gearbox 85 and diesel i know should be in wanted which i did but thought i might have a bit of luck hear cheers :D

Some of the early Mitsu diesels are reportedly based on the same block as the 2.6 engine in the Pajero and the Sigma. If you can spare some time in a wrecking yard, check them out - it might open up your options?

Referring to the Tech thread here, early Pajeros used the same gearbox in petrol and diesel - there's a good chance it was the same in the L200.

In my buddy's 84 turbo diesel mitsu pickup we used a tranny outta a 2.6 Pajero and it worked out just fine.
89 3.0 2dr auto, locked, tbars cranked,2"BL, 35's rollbar no top aisin hubs
