What is a cheap price for a 92mdl GQ 3tlr motor and Box?

Hi all,

I will soon have a 92 mdl GQ and I will be putting a chev and 4.2 box into it so I was woundering what I should sell the 3ltr and Box minus the transfer for? I will sell it cheap just want a fair deal!

i sold my 2.8 turbo diesel engine/gearbox/transfer for 750.

to give you some idea.

thats sounds fair. the motor is the same as a VL commadore but it has carby not EFI. A good EFI vl motor goes for about $600. So for the carby variant and a gearbox I reckon you are on the right track.
