I want to do a rear disk brake conversion on the old 45. I've heard lots ideas from Hilux to Subaru. Just wondering what you guys have done, seen or dreamed about?
Thanks, Richard.

LandCruiser rear disks
1977 HJ45 Trayback, standard for now!
Later model 75 series utes and troopies have rear disks. You may be able to fit the calipers and rear rotors from one of these to your 40Ser. I have recently begun looking into this for my 73.

I do a kit for the 40's its a direct bolt on all you need is the disc's, calipers and wheel studs from the front of a 4wd Hilux 1979-1987 (solid rotors) and $300 for the conversion kit (all lazer cut mounting brakets, spacers, backing plate etc bolts and fitting instructions.

bundera front brakes to 1989 also were solid disks similar (identical?) to hilux so should work with this kit?
