looks kike my fuel pump is ready to die soon is making funny noises and my rig will just about stall like its running out of fuel

are the fuel pump for the v6 the same as the 4 cyl pajs so i know what to look for

I doubt it. The V6 has a submerged pump in the tank, designed to deliver high pressure for fuel injection. The 4 cylinders were all carby fed, and I expect they had mechanical fuel pumps - exactly like the one on my Sigma.

Search the Yellow Pages for a Mitsubishi wrecking specialist - they should be able to tell you pretty quickly.

What Scott said! The 2.6 motor does definately have a mechanical fuel pump!
