CV joints going???

CV joints going???
Hi guys,
If this is my CV joints going I have to admit it is the first time I have heard of them wearing out
I have been going offroad a bit lately but everyone always seems to actually destroy thweirs before they age.
What I am noticing is:
When I am driving straight nothign is wrong.
When I am turning I can hear a noise like my tyres are rubbing on something.
When I am driving slowly with my steering wheel at full lock (like into or out of a parking space) my steering wheel keeps bouncing back 1 inch or so from the full lock.
When I stop my steering pulls left. I thought it might be the camber of the road but I tested the other day - on the other side of the road it doesn't pull right - it stil goes left but less so. If I am driving slowly the pull to the lefti s harder.
All of this sounds like the tyres are rubbing on something but I have checked and they don't appear to be =- they are the standard size but in recently purchased muddies.
My power steering fluid is full andn ot leaking.
Any adviceo n what I can check? Does this sound like CV joints?

why your steering wheel pulls on full lock is that u have your steering adjustment set rong. u can damage cv's by doing this .
on most 4x4's there is bolts on each side that limit your steering . try adjusting this .
u may have more than one problem.

I am getting my torsion bars wounds up and an alignment done tomorrow morning. So I will have the steering adjusmtnet checked while in there.
However everything used to be okay so the adjustment would have to have just gone out by itself.
NOTE: I found out somethign new last night. I actually sat in the one spot and turned the wheel as far rigth and left as I could. The steering wheel was jumping around the entire time. I think it might be my power steering pump not working right. Therefore at speed, all is okay as the pump is driven faster. When slow or stopped the pump is not being driven as hard and something is wrong so it doesn't work right.
Does that make sense?

The pulling to the left sounds like a seperate problem to the rest. Sounds like the brake system is not properly bled??
The rest of the symptoms sound like a common problem on surfs. The power steering pump is notorious for shearing the mounting and adjusting bolts. Have someone steer side to side while you watch the pump for movement. If it moves around when your friend steers then check for broken or loose bolts. Also check that the pulley is running true (not wobbling(looking at it side on from the passenger side)) as this could indicate a worn shaft or loose pulley.

The wheel alignment completed while winding up the front torsion bars bixed the pulling to the left.
The power steering belt was a little under tightened so I tightened it and the problem seems ot have gone away.
And my CV joints are absiolutely f%*ked but only seem to make the normal ticking noise when in 4wd mode.
I have been told about some drive line place not fatr from where I live where I should be able to exchange my CV joints for about $200 (not an actual quote just a comment from a friend).
