GQ interior in an MQ

Post by adam.s »

I am curious as most of the stuff it would seem will line up.

Might take a measuring tape down to the wreckers tomorrow.

Has anyone attempted this swap before?

cheers

hardly worth the hassle.

all the wiring and stuff is different for a start, the speedo cable and stuff wont line up either.....

the GQ gearbox tunnel is also wider. U would have to make custom brackets for all peices of the dash.....

but is spose doable if u feel that way inclined....

gq stuff

Post by MQHOON »

We put a gq dash into an mq, but we swapped the complete wiring harness.
Its best to use all the gq bits from under the dash.
What parts do you need?
Chop it drop it and big block it.
