When running long, soft leaves in a spring over do you need a traction bar for both the front and the back or is it only the rear?

Traction bars
it is predominately the back where it makes the most significant difference
however hilux's come with these in the front std as well, and after talking to a few ppl, including some reputable 4wd shops, i decided to take this off as it hindered travel in the std design,
it worked, and did make a slight difference when on the ramp, but i didnt even notice any difference at all off road, and it made braking quite interesting aswell

In saying that my ride had a lot of axle wrap in the front. Could have done with a traction bar

Drive it and you'll be able to tell if the front needs one
