No there is not as far as i am aware but it would be handy.
Topics can be split but cant be merged.

You could just start a new topic and move both into it.

Nah you cant do that.
You can split a topic top a new thread but you cant split or move it to an existing thread.

Im pretty sure of this but i will go and try it now and see if i can.
