Replacing shocks on a 01 single cab hilux, what should I get

Hi everyone,

I just bought a 01 Single Cab hilux and was wondering what shocks to replace the stock ones with, I was thinking Rancho RS5000's but am very open to any help that can be given

Really depends on how much you want to spend... plenty of people are very happy with both OME Nitrochargers and RS5000 both of which are $130 each, and have a solid repuation.

The most important part is to correctly measure your shock lengths before buying anything.

Do people with RS900's actually adjust there shocks once the novelty has worn off>?
I'm deciding between 5000 and 9000's also....

DONT PUT 5000's ON THE REAR!

it's like getting punched in the kidneys every time you hit a bump

i shoulda listened to mick @ superior when he told me to put 9000's on the rear

if you always have a few hundred kilos in the tray it might be alright but if you drive around empty it's not real flash.

the other problem is i cant get them to break so i can swap to 9000's :D
