Suspension sagging
Suspension sagging
I have noticed for a while that my GU 99 patrol seems to lean to one side (drivers side) I have placed it in many different spots where i know the ground is flat, and it seems to always lean towards the drivers side. I have also noticed this on my mates patrol and another parked on the road.
Im starting to think this is normal, but i still have that doubt in my mind that its not right.
anyone else notice this? can you clear my suspicions up?

My 01 cab chassis did this as well. Have you had the springs out? If you have you may have put them back in on the wrong sides. They are left and right specific cause the patrols are heavier on the right. If not disconnect the panhards front and rear and see if it sits straight. If it does your panhard bushes may be stuffed. If it doesn't then it's your springs. I have adjustable panhards and it leant to the right with 4in springs and now it sits straight with 6in lift. So all's good.

Not sure how old your springs are but my king springs and my dobinson springs both have tags that say left or right on the springs.

Not sure about the wagons but the utes have the sub tank just behind the drivers seat. That's the only thing I can think of that would make it heavier on the right. Any after market springs that I've had have all been marked left and right.

I bought 5" suspension lift from Mannell and drive LHD truck. Do you think it would be the same to put left springs to left and right springs to right ?

Easiest thing would be to diconnect your panhard rods front and rear. put the springs in and see if it sits level. If it does, all is OK. If it doesn't then swap springs from side to side. By the way it's only on Y61 designated vehicles as far as I know.
