How to lift front spring hangers on Rocky F85?

Post by BabyGodzillaGTi-R »

Hey guys need to do abit of brain storming here...
I would like to lift the front sping hangers on the rocky but its seems it's not as straight forward like on the Hilux.
Coz on our Rocky the spring hangers is right at the edge of the chassis rails and then the hangers juts out further away from the chassis.
So right now i'm blur how to go about it.
Coz what my silly "mechcanic" did was to weld lumps of metal on the original mountings to drop it by a further 1 1/2 inch. Well it did the trick but i'm worried coz it's a rock magnet. It's always digging into all sort of ruts and there are too many dent marks from rocks....

So guys any suggestions?

I'm currently in the process of getting the pics developed and scanned.
Pity i dont have a digi cam.

Simply i want to lift the front higher. As in making the front spring hangers/ mounting drop lower.

Got hold of the pics. The problem is that it's a real rock magnet and i need some brainstorming so that it's strong enough to withstand all the knocking.
Can some kind soul help me post the pics in the forum. I cant seem to do it.
