front end noise
hey everybody, my car is making a weird noise when turning at full lock. It is when I am making a right turn, sounds like something has broken off but I haven't a clue what it is

have hundreds of mods planned by the year 2020
mmm yeah I know the noise now.... mainly when you go over the driveway backwards with the wheels turned at full lock.... yeah high pitched - of coarse, sorry, didnt even think of that one.Dangerous Dave wrote:Don't worry Heath. If you actually drove a Feroza every day you'd know the noise in question straight away! (Joke) Its a real high pitched, metal tearing/grinding sound.
Dave.
oh and dave i drove a Feroza for 5 years, I do know alot about em, just missed the description.
and I have had a broken noise which was the hubs - hence I went for that...... but all good..... hopefully just the metal bump stops...

newbyferoza wrote:thanks guys the noise you are talking about is the noise my car is making, I am having it it serviced soon, I have never had it serviced at a four wheel drive service place, should I take it there or is a normal mechanic good enough for the service
My recommendation would be to find a mechanic that knows what a Feroza is for starters. Just simply ask them have they worked on these cars before, if not, move on. Maybe worth searching around for a daihatsu specialist...
