Paul,

Unfortunately we don't have a mould big enough to produce a Mongrel pattern
on your 35" casings.

Depending on your location and the freight associated with getting tyres to
your nearest dealer you would expect to pay about $230.00 per tyre.

Regards

Dean McCracken
Sales Manager.

I wonder what they did with the mould?

Probably haven't made one.

I was under the impression they never made 35" Motorways, in any case you may find all the brands around were the wrong compound or they couldn't get the first brand to work, if 35" Claws failed they would need to make another mould to try Simex's. I tried to get some 33 BFG's done just for offroad gymkana use but my retreader told me they were a bad compound and 50% would go egg shaped.

Mudtoy - Based in Sth East Melb.

I've only seen the Silverstones for around $320 + per corner whilst the Mongrels I can get for around $200 a corner fitted. Which is why I found it surprising that you said they come for $20 more than a set of Mongrels.

Also the Silverstones only come in a 16 inch rim...?

Hi Pajero SRV...I can understand it is easy to get confused with the Silverstones...the Mongrel comparable size tyre from Silverstone is the MT117 Sport, it retails for around $220 to $240.

The MT117 Xtreme is a 35 equivalent and retails for around $300 to $340. There is no Mongrel available in this size.

Yes, at the moment we are limited to 16s with the Silverstones.
