SJ80 Sierras are renowed for the engine problems at the 65000km mark as the pistons are very light and crack. Not all do this but the ratio is around 1 in 3.

Check for piston slap. If there is any any indication of this happening, take into consideration about $2000.00 for an engine reco. Also, check with the owner if it has had any engine work.

I'm thinking that the price wanted is about $1-2000.00 over value. Then again, the value of anything is only worth what your willing to pay for it, especially you want it badly enough.

Thanks for the replies, not cheap enough for me to sell the old 1ltr to buy the coily. Maybe if they drop it to $6,500. Anyway my 1ltr has less k's on it :)
