What sort of grease should i use to repack bearings, hub and cv's and where should i get it?
Also how much $.

Hubs - HTB
CVs - Moly
Unis - GP lithium or HTB
Ball joints, shackles - Any of above

K Mart, Supercheap, Servo Repco etc etc

You can use Moly for the whole front end. It's easier
to use one type and stops cross contamination.

My manual states as Bazzle put it. Grease doesn't cost much (about 20 for the two tubes ). The seals cost big time, but if you're gonna do it, do it right. Look forward to parting with about $150 for all six (gen Nissan). Also if you only jack one side of the car at a time you don't have to drain the diff oil.

I recently watched a short demo video on Pro-Ma grease - impressive! :shock:

Some friends of mine swear by it, and they make an additive for engine and transmission oils too. A little info here.

can htb be used for cv's

Moly is Molybendum additive which molecules are flattish and allow sliding to occur esp if grease carrier dries off.

On taper rollers (wheel bearings, UnIs) Moly "may" cause rollers to slip and not turn causing flats.

NO! you have to use moly grease for the C.V
