hilux tacho...

Post by mattsluxtruck »

Hey guys just grabbed the dash off dane for the pos and was wondering does anyone know the correct size resistor to put in line with the tacho input to make a V8 run a four cylinder tacho ok? I have been told its just a resistor and if i can do this it saves me $100 to have it recalibrated...

Dunno if its correct but was told that a 4 cyl and a v8 are the same pulse calibration , as far as tacho go.
Lockers or Knockers ,both will make for fun.
