Everyone except 4x4Mad made Tuff Truck

Post by SAWZALL »

Well if there list is up to date, everyone on the tuff truck site made it to Tuff Truck....except 4x4 Mad :?

Who would have thought 18 votes (basically two votes) would have got you into Tuff Truck...

Voing has not finished yet. It finishes today. And so far there are only 31 teams so they have all made it. To be a Wild Card as far as i know you allready had to be entered. So the 3 wild cards should come from the entrants allready listed.

I have heard that the wild cards are a mixture of already entered vehicles and some that we have not seen yet.
And that is straight from the organisers, so it will be interesting to see who it is.

Voting closes today, so hopefully some people dump a few votes and we drop back to between 6th and 10th place.
Early enough you get to see some people try and drive it and late enough it is not all carved up :D

cheers

Cool so that will mean even if only one Wild Card comes from the displayed entrants then every team that is still entered will compete. It is a pitty there were not heaps more.

I havent even worked out where im positioned and dont realy care. Im not entered to win. I only entered to finish and hopefully not last. But dont think i wont be trying to win  And for those wondering yes all my votes so far came from me. You cant enter so late and expect to get in on public votes.

The site quoted below, states there are 3 wild cards and 30 competitors,
by this statment we should see 3 that arn't mentioned yet . :)

[quote]At the close of voting the three wild card entries plus the 30 candidates who have received the most votes, and who have paid the full competition entry fee will be declared the competitors for the event. The next 4 candidates will be declared the reserves.[quote/]

After speaking to the organizers, I can back what zzzz has said... the wildcards will be a mix of rigs already entered (in the public voting list) and some that are not on the list yet.

The comment was something like "I am really glad that I don't have to make any of the 'sorry but you missed out' phone calls this year"

And the voting finishes today I think - I'm sure the final votes will be updated tonight after today's mail.

Just got 4x4 Australia in the mail today, the april issue they have given Mog Rover there wild card entry,  think its a bit stoopid giving it to a truck thats already garunteed to get in, would like to have seen someone that wasn't already in.

Anyone know what happened to that 75 series with patrol axles and 44's and stuff that was in one of the mags a few months back, had something to do with M&M custom engineering, he was sposed to be entering as well. Too late now though.
