Freelander Question

Post by V25C »

G'day,
I usually lurk in the Pajero Forum as I am an owner of a 91 SWB J Top Pajero.

I'm thinking of buying a 2.0 turbo Freelander as they appear to economical and it appears that I can buy a good one for under 20K. My major problem with them is the height of the drivers seat base, at 6 foot, my head almost hits the roof. Is there any mod that can be done to reduce the seat height? The current model seems even worse.

I will be changing from the Pajero primarily for fuel economy reasons, I do about 500km a week, and at 13.9l per 100km (average over 50,000km. 3.0 V6) I am looking to reduce the fuel bill.

Almost as funny as the thread in General Tech asking "white writing inside, or outside on tyres?"
