MQ Handbrake shoes same as rear drum shoes?

Post by Heathx4 »

Anyone happen to know if the pads in the tailshaft/transfer case handbrake drum on the MQ are the same as those in the rear brake drums? I've got a pair of new rear brake pads and think I'm probably up for replacement of the pads in the hand brake drum (yank mate says: oh, did you leave the e-brake on? Ooops.). Cheers.

i am not 100% sure but i would say the brake shoes in the handbrake drum would be smaller than the rear brake shoes.

Just my opinion for seeing both of them
