Post by mrp69 »

Just saw a 3" BL on 4wd.com looks very simple to install anyone know what the effect of running a BL to this extent would be?

have a search on AJOR for the answer to this one...
but really NOT recommended with a lift that drops the transfercase (i.e OME you're look at) because your shifter will be 4" from where it should be!

be prepared for rubbing (esp with standard rim offset) but meh i wouldn't worry; it's only on full flex which isn't very often (depending on your driving and location)...

rubing to a point where i will cause damage?

and in your opinion about 32's

are they gonna be a shitload better offroad as opposed to 31's

clearance, in mud, rocks etc besides the fact that they will look better

How many different boards are you posting this on??

As for the question...if you're running 32s you should almost be sweet with the 2.5" OME lift. A 1" might give you a tad more room (but you should actually be able to run 33s with it.

A 2" will definitely give you room for 33s.

A 3" will definitely give you headaches, and IMHO will look bad (my 2" isn't the prettiest, I'd hate to see a 3", especially on a light coloured jeep!)
Apparently people think I'm too patronising (that means I treat them like they’re stupid).
