Would a Bundera have the same body mounts as a 75 series ute?
IE: could I get a bundera body, hack it into an extra cab body & mount it on the 75 series chassis.
Since the Bundera was a bit of a parts bin job by Toyota (eg coil front end used in 100 series, engine, gearbox & diffs from hilux, body from a 75 series ute) I was hoping that the body mounts would line up.
It would be much cheaper to hack a bundera than try to locate a troopy body or add to a ute body.
Does anybody know if this has been tried/done before??

Bundera cab onto L/C chassis
2005 GU3 Patrol ST Ute
i would say that it would fit as the SWB 70 series is almost the same as the Bundera. The bundy is a little shorter over the front end but i think this is b/c they have a single piece guard and 70's have a two piece set up, at best only a couple of mounts.... Most 70 series stuff fits like the dash, doors and bullbar, so i would guess the width would b the same also.
I have thought about putting a 70 series ute body onto my bundy so let me know how u go.
cheers Daniel
