Nipples

Post by murcod »

Now I've got your attention....

Are you supposed to keep filling the grease nipple on the steering, suspension, and uni joints in the tailshaft until it flows out?

AND.... has anyone managed to find a grease gun attachment that will fit on the front diff prop shaft uni's? :bad-words:

Dave, when i did mine i ended up taking it up to the mechanic's and he greased the prop shafts for me. He had a gun that had a flexible hose on it and it reached in there fine. Pretty sure you are spose to fill them till the grease comes out, especially if you've never done them before and you want to make sure that you know what grease is in there. Some people dont like mixing their greases up.
