6WD hj45 dual cab

Post by nicbeer »

found this one at lancelin. 1hr north of perth.

was on way out so couldn't get good pic and find out more info.

I do know it was a hj45 dual cab wiith tray. It had a nice sounding v8 and 3 diffs under it. 1 centred and 1 offest diff in the rear.

interesting.

Small world.

I saw that today on a Wedge to Lancelin run and I have to say it looked different but its performance didn't seem to match its looks.

Huge tyres and 6WD yet they bypassed the normally difficult beach area and headed to the inland track, pussies :D

Later I followed it on the entrance road corrugations section idling along and the rear seemed uncontrollable as it bounced all over the place and wouldn't stay in a straight line.

Next was on the blacktop going home holding up the traffic at 90kph  .

Different yes, but effective, who knows.

As you know it can change one day to the next so who knows in two weeks :D . But today was one of the most perfect days I have ever experienced up there. The conditions were just friggin awesome.

The beach was great, no problems whatsoever. You could have driven a mack truck along the whole length, but apparently not 6WD's :D .

I assume you have also seen this wedge regular but I think its a lazy axle.
