For those who are interested, the price for a set of Lovell springs including delivery to Brisbane is $290, Sydney $300, Melbourne, Adelaide and Canberra $310 Perth $345 Hobart & Darwin $360 and Bunbury WA $400. If you don't live in a city than send me an email for a personal price including your postcode.
Dobinsons shocks are $90+ each but they don't do a 3 inch lift ( unless you do a special order), however the 2 inch lift shocks still work but will limit flex a bit in the rear.
I would recommend procomp shocks for $120 each incl boot however they are on a slow boat from America.
Hope I can help

Generally you will lose approx one degree of caster for every inch of suspension lift. Rangies start off with 3 degrees of caster, so with a 3 inch lift your caster angle will be zero so you will probably need to either bend the front radius arms or fit slotted swivel balls or eccentric bushes to restore your steering geometry.
Quite apart from raising the vehicles centre of gravity, lifting the suspension by fitting longer springs and shockers IMO adds even further to instability on side slopes by virtue of the fact that the springs on the uphill side will keep pushing the uphill side of the truck up untill the springs reach their freelength. Its a different suspension system completely but the principal may work on a Rangey, the short travel stiffish springs on my portal axled Landey unload and stop pushing at 2 1/2 inches of droop or 5 degrees of body roll.
This gives high stability in the offcamber stuff .With only 4 1/2 inches of bumpstop clearance most of my articulation
( 4 1/2 feet) is gained by the seesaw action of having
closely spaced springs (coil front leaf rear) mounted on pivoting drop away coil spring mountings, telescopic shackles and pivoting drop down leaf spring hangers.
I appreciate that most of the suspension Gurus on these forums favor springs that are captive top and bottom, but can anyone see merit in what I have just described ?
Bill.

Chunderlicious,
I have edited this post If you want 4 inch lift springs than add an extra $20 a pair. The rates are 274, 500mm free height for front and 183, 530mm free height for rear. The rear is for no load but good flex.or 294, 460mm free height in rear.

you can always use 80series front shocks and modify the towers and also weld in brackets and use GQ rear shocks.
in a rangie 3" spring lift would be max lift

This setup will flex very un evenly... front to rear and you will lift a front wheel off the ground easier on steep rutty inclines....
Not a bad setup but not a good one either.
Sorry BASSYK about not returning your email. yella_rangie was right on the money. Very glad I have finished moving.
