i got my new ride its a 1990 GQ nissan patrol SWB white 5 speed diesil 2in body lift 3in spring lift 5 way ajustable rancho rs9000 shocks 33x12.5x15, snorkl, arb bull bar, im going to turbo it with a 3in pipes all the way though and after that im going to put on a intercooler then mite put a set of 35in tyres and i what to put a nother spring lift it dont seem to be a 3in spring lift so im going to put a 4in lift in it and are the rancho rs9000 any good they dont seem to have much lift in them

i dont think im going to get it now iv found a very nice landcruiser i was going to get that but iv found a much better 4wd and its a ute what iv allways wanted so im going to have a look at it at 4

you are in the wrong section saying this sort of thing. i don't understand how someone can go shopping for a shorty when they really wanted a ute and the other brand :shock: as well. this sounds like something my missus would do. :finger: :finger:

hmmm its funny you say this mate i was thinking the same chris actually sold a shorty a few months ago which looked better no offence chris and i dont know you but you seem like you are very confused about what you are after but anyway its your money and your choice but if you are looking at a cruiser ute you going to be getting leaves (not knocking leaves ;) ive got em) but you would be going backwards from the gq you had just my 2cents :D

you don't get lift from shocks they control the springs rebound etc
