Hey guys,
Whats the deal with body lifts (50mm) and insurance?
Do I need an Engineers Certificate for the lift? Or RTA??
GIO have no idea what a bosy lift is (well at least the people I spoke to), they say as long as its "roadworthy" it needs to be disclosed and they can insure it. What defines "roadworthy"? An engineers certificate? My opinion?
Snake wont help unless its one of their own kits (figures) and guys at ORI reackon I need to pay $400 for an Engineers setup report, then for each mod, it gets listed. Am I gonna have to fork out $400 for a $100 body lift???
Ps. Im in NSW thank god!
Anybody have names and numbers for ENgineers??
Thanks.

One occasion when Qld isn't too bad!
The inspection cost about one hour of my time (driving to and from), and not as much money as I feared - about $60, I think.
Cheers,
Scott
