33x10.5 TYRES/RIM QUESTION

Post by mrp69 »

Hey wanna fit these tyres to my stock wrangler rims 15x7 anyone know if that will be ok?

15x8 i know are fine but then again i can fit 33x12.5 on them so dont see why a 10.5 wide wont fit a 15x7 rim??

I'm runninng the 33 x 10.50 on 7" rims without any problems, I reckon an 8" rim is too wide for a 10.5

Grimbo - your running a zook but - weight difference between Zook and Jeep....

You can do it as I have seen it but I wouldn't reccomend it - rather go without for a bit then buy the 8's and do it right first time round. Saves hastles down the road hey.

I ran 33x10.5 on 7 inch rims on my defender with no problems at all.

i would run the 7" with the 10.5" wide tyres.
with 8" rims you will loose the bead easier at lower pressures

I would reccomend the 7" over the 8" anyday of the week unless the tyre was taller than a 35".

If ya goin to go a size up, why not go 2 or 3 sizes up. A lux with 2 inch body lift would prob fit 34's with a bit of guard work. The bigger the tyre the better it will be offroad.
