Diesel 'Chemtune'... anyone heard of it/used it or similar??

Post by Turby2LT »

Hi all.

We're putting our new acquisition of 2 1/2 months in for her first service this week and we're being offered a Chemtune by 4WD Connections here in Melbourne (any info on them??). It costs $250 but you can order the chemicals from the manufacturer in QLD, but it can be a task to execute it.

It's supposed to clean out the engine from the inside, injectors, pistons, oil lines etc.

So, I was wondering and thought, let's ask, so here goes...

Has anyone used this or similar?

If yes, how did you find it?

Thanks for reading and cheerio!

probably work great on an old motor, but on a new motor on it's 1st service be a bit pointless I think.

Get yourself some Diesel power, by Chemteck that works, and be cheaper and a hell of a lot easier than undoing fuel lines fuel pumps etc just to run what is basically a fuel additive.
