Service, Rapairs, Spareparts, Wreakers in MELB

Post by Evan »

Hi all,
Anybody got any ideas on best wreakers, spareparts and services for rangies in Melbourne ?
My poor tow rig is in need of some parts and TLC since i decided to keep it. Might just do that chev conversion yet.

RovaCentre has limited rangie stuff, more the rover sedan stuff.
I think Rangie Wreckers in somerville might be closing up.
There was a 4 sale sign a couple of months ago and I couldn't get through to them last week.
Pity, they were good too!

Try Dave form Hardcore 4x4 in Mitcham.
Top bloke and looks after us blokes with little money.

His collection is a 350 chev Rangie, patrol and a mavrik.
Works on anything as long as it has 4x4 under it.

or Fred Smith in Bayswater
Landy Nut with more crap than i've ever seen.
He's a blunt type of bloke but wont rip you off or Lie.

ill second that

my rig is in there now getting new springs all round and a bent body mount strengthened and rear trailing arms bent

all his work is top notch and i havent had a problem with any of it.

also his prices have always been cheaper than everyone else

he fitted my rear maxi for just over $2k when everyone else was quoting me $2500 plus

Yeah, Lenny's gone... He said he was going to re-open elsewhere, but if no-one can get hold of him, it's a bit hard to know where!
