I Want to learn how to change my front brake pads !! Help !!

Post by RedTJ »

I have a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Limited with ABS,

I need to put in new front brake pads !!

I have the wheels off and the car's front end on stands, I am a little afraid do undo the caliper as i know on my old car you had to be very carefull about the piston as it can be hard to push back in.

Whats the Easiest way to change the front pads, With less hassell !

Tools are not a problem, I have access to my dads kingchrome set !!
:)

Should I be taking out some brakefluid out of the resevoir before I do anything ?

Any help is most welcome !!

2 options..
bleed and compress or
C-clamp and compress (this is when you'll need to remove some out of the resevoir)
