Look at the Denco kit dude, you can fit it in 1/2 a day easy.. We did TB's, and it comes with complete exhaust too..

Why would you not go an intercooler???????

OK the SAFARI ones, etc. are pricey but you can go to a jap importer and get one the similar size/dimensions and addapt it easily.

New Safari Intercooler

Post by blindreindeer »

I know where there is a brand new Patrol Safari Intercooler kit in its box is if anyone is interested (on the Gold Coast). I have no idea on price yet - will have to ask owner. What are they worth new?

why a safari cooler? what are the dimensions?

can pick up a nice hybrid cooler off ebay for cheap..

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 69491&rd=1

Core Size : 450mm x 300mm x 76mm, "End to End is 630mm".

That is going for $449.

Get the pipe work done yourself and will save a bit..

Goes fantastic--its very tempting to just select 5th gear and stay in it all the time. ARB Northern did a great job--couldnt fault their work. Runs at the same temp as before--havent been able to check fuel consumption as i've only had it on 4 days. But very happy

5th is not as strong as 4th, some boxes can't handle heavy towing etc in 5th and wear out.
