I've got one on order from Repco for my Feroza- figure they can't be any worse than the standard Daihatsu ones! $68 BTW.

Found a cheaper place ($54) but there were none in the country- the one from Repco has to some from interstate.....

I ordered an engine mount from repco after i had gone through a few genuine ones.
The one they supplied didn't fit so i just kept buyin genuine ones.

Don't say that!!!!

I just picked mine up and it appears to be the right one- still sealed in the bag too (so I don't think I scored your old one! )

Toyota is the dealer and service centre for daihatsu now.
Used to be ford when I had mine. Contract was given to toyota about 18months ago. Well in brisbane anyway.
There is also a gouy on the southside who wrecks daihatsu only. He is very good

It's about a 40 minute drive to the nearest Daihatsu dealer for me, so last time I wanted genuine parts I tried one of the larger Toyota dealers (10 minute drive!) Although they recognised the fact Daihatsu and Toyota are affiliated in Australia they couldn't get any parts. :?

In brisbane there is no such thing as Daihatsu service centre or parts as far as I know. Toyota has a contract to do it

If you want to try a different mount check out the ones from the 6 cylinder Cortinas and the like. They're a round block of rubber with a 8mm or so bolt hanging out each end. I was considering getting one for the Feroza- shouldn't be too hard to adapt.

I have been getting the odd part from QFord in Springwood Qld (Southside Brisbane). Just go to their for spare parts desk and ask them for Daihatsu stuff.Anything that they haven't had they will get from interstate.

There must be, there is one in Hobart eventhough it has changed hands from the local Ford dealer the the Yota dealer in the Last 12 months. Somebody in Brissy must be selling the pos's daihatsu sell these days.

Notice Gladstone isnt on the list.

The car yard that used to sell Daihatsus in town had a big fall out with them a couple of years ago. They dumped ALL their spare parts department at the local tip, about 15 grands worth, I was told. Bloody criminal. Even more criminal is the fact I know the bloke with the scavenging rights, but I didnt find out till it was too late. It was landfill by then.
