36's are 1" bigger. ;)

There's talk around that the 3 centre lug design doesn't clean as well as the 2 centre lug design.
If you've got the power to spin them though, they'll eventually clean out!

Vic Winch 04 was won on 36" Simex, and yeah, he had the power to spin them!

from what i've seen, 36 pedes are slightly better on the road than the 35's

and similar in mud,

and the centre lugs shouldnt matter too much as in any tyre the centre quickly fills up with mud and it's the outer lugs that pull ya through, even boggers fill up in the middle.

I find the 35x11.5's work better in mud. The size difference is not much, the 35.11 is 35.5 in and 36 is 36.2, (hummers figures). Ourselves and Kym Bolton have chosen the 11's and are more that pleased.

If you can, get hold of one of each and put them side by side to see the obvious difference.

The gap between the 2 centre lugs of the 35's is a lot bigger than that of the 36's and helps it to clear easier. The most important aspect though, is the size of the outer lug on the 35. It is A LOT bigger (wider) than that of the 36, and helps to bite better and clear easier, ready to take another chunk out of terra-firma.

Cheers

i found with the 36s, that at road pressures, you would actually only be driving on the centre 3 lugs, not the side lugs

we ran them at 30psi

and hit the skids at 80km, the skid marks were from the centre lugs only

i was really impressed with their handling on road also

for an aggresive tyre, they drove almost as good as the mtrs and bfgs

and if you want them to bag, you can make them bag.

the 35x11s would be better in mud but
