High pinions
for when i eventually land a hi pinion diff. Can anyone tell me if i will be able to use either my lockright (piece o crap) or detroit lockers with it, or do i need to get other ones.

but yeah it will fit in
Do BJ, Ruff I can put a 80 series locker - RD23 into my 4runner diff that requires a RD01??? What changes need to be done??
I have seen a RD23 for sale and it might be worth considering !!
Chris.
RUFF wrote:Yep im now running an RD23 in the rear the only difference is that the RD23 runs larger bearings on the hemisphere. So as long as you get bearings to suit the RD23 it will fit.
But shouldn't your model use a RD23 anyway, you have a 93 don't you?? Going by the arb catalogue 1988 + rear axles should use a RD23!!
Before 1988 RD01. All solid front axles RD01.
So what you a saying I can use a RD23 in my hemisphere as long as I use the bigger bearings?? What bearings are they??
