feroza/rocky or vitara

Post by Speekaz »

Hi everyone, I am interested in buying a rocky or feroza. just asking if people can post me general info. I would want to fit body lift. suspension lift,31x10.5 etc, where abouts is outer limits situated is it in brisbane??. They look great im comparing them to a vitara. There is great suspension kits for vitara's at calmini.com. are there good kits for diahatsu's. do the newest rocky's have coils or leaf springs. what are there diesel engines like can u screw up the boost at a cost. can you get transfer case gear ratio kits?? just general stuff to make one tuff off roader. cheers :D

You can fit 31's to a feroza after suspension and body lift, but geariugn is affected.

OuterLimits is this forum - not a place.

Im pretty sure the latest model Rockys have IFS with torsion bars and coils springs on the rear.
Dont expect mere proof to sway my opinion.

Welcome, if you want to change your gearing or get lockers etc then DON'T buy a Feroza or Rocky. There isn't the aftermarket support and nothing it made.

i have nothing against daihatsu owners of any type, but get a vitara if these are your choices.

only reason being, there is no where near as much after market support for feroza's/rocky's, as there is for the suzuki vitara. and not to mention the world of modding sierra's in todays world.

i've seen a lot of tuff feroza's and rocky's around, and have no doubts you can make them mean, but i think theres a lot of work involved, short of going SAS on feroza's, or Lux diffs on rocky's.

pics are always good in the Zook section, maybe its good here too?

heres a couple of pics of vitaras.

cheers
Steve
