bending torsion bars

just wondering if it is possible to bend torsion bars, as i want to use one for a sway bar but needs small bend to clear driveshaft.
if possible whats the best way, heat and bend or press bend?

You have to anneal . bend and then re heatreat.
Prob wont work and may distort.
