huntn wrote:nice idea 60s diffs how easy is this to do and how does it all work any bad points or all good? Cheers.
60s conversion is a peace of piss
only downside is clearance but i shaved the craper out of the diffs anyhow
you dont have too worry bout wheelspacer or flipped rims plus the cheap as
and you can run up to a 37" tyre leagally and whatever horse power you want without fear of brakage
brake lies basically bolt up and driveshaft flanges just have to be redrilled
STUMPY wrote:looks sweet man by the looks of the lower controls mounts you'll be coiling the front. what set up are you going to run?
ill be running the overkill coil kit in the front aswell, just with much longer control arms
comprises of 3link with panrod
the front and rear controll arms will basically be the some length bout 1150mm long
damn the a-frame has a bit of weigth too it wont brake that in a hurry
mate curious on what size tube you have used for the tray as am doing the same on mine and dont want it to be too thick for looks and weight
used 50 mm OD steam pipe on rocky but think this would be too thick for sierra
pm with any info if you can
cheers
thanks jake
looks like i will be investing in the local steel industry
cant quite see how you have attached the tray to the chassis as i was thinking i'll be making raisers out of box and bolt on
makes it easy to do swap between on road and offroad trays
