looking for a tow hitch lock pin

Post by SiKiD_01 »

where can i find one of these?

i know they exist, but cant seem to find them anywhere. its basically the same as the pin used to lock the tow hitch inplace, but with a lock on the end of it instead of the little pin.

the lock is very similar to the lock used on steering wheel clubs.

i'm actually looking for a friend, as theres nothing on my zook worht stealing.

thanks
Steve

Go the drill and padlock, just gotta keep some wd40 or similar up to it or it'll fill with crud and not work... otherwise I've seen them at trailer places and I think ARB or TJM maybe.

why would yo want to lock it in place permanently anyway...

Just drill hole and use a lock and remove it when not in use or you will end up like my brother-in-laws car who can't remove the hitch cause it is rusted in..

I always remove mine when not in use.......Can't be stolen that way.

I remove it every now and then and give a hit of rp7 or almost anything, but if someone runs into the back of me (and they have) it's the first thing they hit

[hijack on]

You blokes need to "Graduate" from WD40 and RP7 to Lanox and Inox, vastly superior products that are actual lubricants and protectors vs water displacers and kero mixes

Would rather use graphite powder as it does not collect dust and clag up like wet lubricants, got it on my lock on the drilled out pin no probs
