hey all

can anyone help me out with the size of the bump stop
on the front off a brand new gu ute
05 ST GU Coil cab
5" lift
35" simex ET 2

Size? Do you want height or diameter?

The diameter of the metal mounting plate on the front bump stop of my 2000 GU is 90mm, the rubber vulcanized to it is prob only about 80mm at it widest point. Height I'm not sure, never needed to know but you should be able to measure it through the coil.

Shouldn't think a later model would be any different.

Those bumpstops compress a lot too under load.

the hight off them

i cauled dot today they said i can only lift your truck by 1/3 off the bumpstop

Is that the actual bumpstop height or the distance between bumpstop and the diff?

i thought the rules were around travel, ie you cant extend you travel by more than 1/3
