GU body mounts

Post by WHITEWIZARD »

If i was to do a swap with a GU ute to a GU wagon chasis will the ute cab bolt straight onto the wagon chasis? I relize i would have to build a tray to suit the rear mounts or change the rear mounts, as long as the front 6 mounts are good.

Yes it will. A mate is just about to do this later in the week, while another mate did it last year.

Cheers

The mounts for the panhards are the same but for some reason the mounts for the steering damper are different between series. It's something to watch out for when ordering a steering damper, make sure you specify pin to pin or eye to pin etc. ;)
