Had a blast! to the Zooky club for putting on a great weekend and for the other clubs that helped run the events. Met a few Outers people, it is good to put faces to names.
Pics to follow soon.

I also had an awesome weekend.
After competing in the mud run, hill climb and rocky horror and also doing a day trip, watching the entertainment and testing our flex on the ramp, I really don't think that I would change anything for the next Jamboree.
It comes pretty close to the perfect weekend I reckon.
Thanks again to the Suzuki club for an absolutely awesome weekend.

one of the best events I've been too. Even got to put the wife's stock 4B through it's paces.
Well run, awesome weather, something for everyone.
It's going to be hard to top the effort the zook club did next time.
Big pat on the back to all involved in arranging it. You guy's should be really propud of yourselves.

Didn't get to take too many shots, but these 2 are my favourites:
The absolute gentleman driver - what a sweetie
The next generation - zoomed in on these little dudes who had built their own log run. Was watching them for a while - as each one went through it, the others acted like marshalls - even had their own disputes

DRS smells like a cat-food milkshake... and wet socks... and gorgonzola cheese... all whizzed up in a blender
How feaky was the mud itself? As it dried it curled up into leaves and literally popped off...weird
Check the shot, I have never seen "glossy" mud, it was like there was some kind of resin mixed in with it. Then again, it was an old dam......probably just duck shit

I'll echo the previous posters, great event, had something for everyone: families, competitors, spectators big trucks, standards etc.
The J5 committee did a fantastic job, and so did the other clubs involved.
I thoroughly enjoyed competing, but it did result in a very slow trip home (normally 2.25 hrs, took 7 ) due to overheating. Just got the radiator back in, now I can relax!
Cheers to all that went!

Heh! Everyone should know my old crap box. Army camo Bushie.
I did the 'Bushie' in the mud run (blew front driver bogger off the rim).
Should have realised that 2 psi was too low. First time that has happened to me but...
Took 6.5 hours driving to get there from north of Wagga. But well worth it, other than the fact that I was also the first to, erm, not make it up the last hill into the joint.... and slip back down the road, and dug a nice big hole in the road. Tis fun sliding backwards and having no control - brakes all locked up. Can watch your life pass by in front of you.

Go Maitland
My family and I had a great time. Drove the boghole a little harder and faster than I should have but came away with no damage so that was good.
Well done to the zook club for such a good weekend. Can't wait until next year.
Judging by the number of cars on the side of the road leaving bathurst a lot of people need to do a better job in cleaning out their radiators.
