1 out law class - it was a dissapointing for the amount of compeditors who arrived due to the huge amount of spectators - saturdays crowd would have been double XRCC round 0

there was 1 rollover, the sukuki on track 3
1 flop, richard in the hilux on track 4.
Beebee left some oil on track 4 and his clutch didnt smell too good.
I managed to finish the first 3 tracks but dnf'd track 4 at the 10 point mark and as track 5 started at the same point we didnt attempt track 5.
My damage was a bent trailing arm and tie rod and a bent and dented bumper.
When i arrived and found out that there was only 3 competitors i thought i would enter just to make up some numbers.
We then prepped the truck [took the fridge off the back] and then tried to get three and a half ton squeezed around the tracks.
poor old thing is not built for this stuff but if theres no one competing then there wont be a competition to watch.

i was camped near the toowoomba boys and [sorry, cant remember your name] in the MQ wagon also decided to have a go at the last minute.
he ended up with 4 dented door and a broken star gear in the front diff.
i think its now a cig locker
Its not often you hear of someone going away for a weekend and coming back with a locker :finger:
he came fourth as he broke it half way through track 3.
bloody well done in a wagon but i dont know how he didn't dent the rear quarter panels as well

thanks DQ, you missed a great weekend.
1mad engineer with mick as navvy in the rock buggy was the only one to drive tracks 4 and 5 but richard and bubs gave it a bloody good go in the hilux :D
I got stuck at the start of these two tracks which at least made it easy to recover, i would have gotten stuck further in otherwise

we were having major steering problems - only had about half the lock we should have been able to get - track 4 we flopped on the last real obstocal after having quite a reasonable run

track 5 - well the picture shows the story

100 series pitman arm - richard is going to look at 75 like on daves who rubs the springs on full lock with 33's - we were about 40mm from the springs with 37's

prize money was as follows - all the entry fees were collected and 40% went to modified winner and 60% went to the outlaw class winner - this is how i was told it was sorted out - richard also recieved a black rat recovery gear kit

last place winner in the rolled zook won the "hard luck award" a poratable ARB air compressor
