capacity of efi gq fuel tank

Post by Quadcamshorty »

just wondering what is the capacity of the standard efi fuel tank.

Also, if i wanted to run a second long range tank, which i have left over from the gas conversion i ripped out, what do i need to do. how do they link together, or do you need two pumps.

cheers

Hey,

I think you might need second pump to link two tanks, i'm not too sure about this best ask GU owners they'll help you better than i am!

I'm GQ owner by the way...

i would run 2 of the same efi pumps. nissan one is $165 for a gu. or some import nissans have the same bolt pattern / pressure and can be had for $100. wire them sepperatly so you can switch from one to the other. most use transfer pumps which overflow if there is insufficient room in the main tank. 2 efi pumps is more relalible too. just think about which tank your return goes to as well. this will be kinda like a transfer set up but more direct

cheers bru
