i was wondering if there was any way to stop my alternator and starter motor from getting clogged up with mud

Mine has never gotten clogged - and it is not too high in the truck. Where is the altenator located on your engine block.

new a mate who siliconed every thing starter /alt due to constant repair
and the alt didn't cook itself not being able to blow air threw itself amazingly

oh yeah defanetly wrong but its been goin for over a 2 years and has just sold the truck to mate half year ago n still goin
