Post by batcho101 »

my gearbox has only recently started to make a funny rattle noise when the clutch is in but it is not always there it doesnt do it for abotu the first 5 minutes of driving but then when u push the clutch in it sounds as though the through out bearing is gone but the noise drops in and out.
and i have only done 800kilometers on the new gearbox, clutch and through out bearing. this is on a 84lux 2.4diesel to

Throw-out bearing????

Or could be something as silly as the exhuast just touching something, when you let the clutch out it may torque away from what its touching. Especially since the gearbox would have been out and they may have forced the exhust out of the road to get the box in and out! I know it sounds silly but silly things like that do happen!
