My rear locker (ARB) has not been playing the game !
I tested it today by blowing compressed air into the airline and this engaged the rear.
But, using the compressor (which correctly operates the front locker) the rear doesn't want to play
I have also rewired most of the stuff I can see.
Could it be something to do with the solenoid (if that is what I have circled in the pic!!)
What am I missing?
The rear is the circled one, the blue line is the front (also as you can see. it is one of the older ARBs)

HOLLY CARBS FLOOD BECAUSE THE FRONT FLOAT DROPS ON HILLS AND ANGLES, THERE IS NO WAY TO STOP THIS SO HE SIMPLE ANSWER IS TO PURGE FUEL FROM THE FRONT BOWL. THIS IS THE ROOT OF MOST FLOODING PROBLEMS WITH HOLLEY CARBS
STEP 1 MOVE THE AIR CLEANER UP FROM THE CARB AND PLACE 6MM AIR LINE IN THE VENT TUBES SO THEY REACH WITHIN 5MM OF THE AIR CLEANER TOP.
MY AIR FILTER IS SPACED UP 50MM SO THE TUBES (AIR LINE) IS ABOUT 100MM LONG (6MM AIR LINE FITS JUST NICE) ITS THE TYPE OF TUBE USED ON TRUCK AIR SYSTEMS.
STEP 2 YOU NEED TO PUT A VENT TUBE IN THE FRONT BOWL, I MADE MINE FROM 10 MM ALLOY PIPE CRUSHED TO FIT IN THE METERING BLOCK. THIS CAN TAKE SOME TIME TO DO AND IS A LITTLE FIDDLEY, I GLUED THE TUBE INTO THE METERING BLOCK WITH A QUALITY EPOXY 2 PAC MIX. THE VENT TUBE SHOULD FINISH ABOUT 5MM FROM THE FRONT OF THE BOWL.
THIS IS WHAT MOST PEOPLE DO TO FIX HOLLEYS BUT THIS BY ITSELF IS NOT ENOUGH. THE HOLLEY WILL RUN AT ABOUT 25DEGREES ONLY AND WONT LIKE SIDE ANGLES.
STEP 3 TAKE THE FRONT BOWL AND PUT A MARK ABOUT 8MM FORWARD AND 8MM BELOW THE FLOAT INSPECTION PORT. HERE YOU WILL DRILL A HOLE (I USE A 5/16 FITTING HERE) YOU CAN DRILL ANY SIZE AS LONG AS ITS CONSISTENT WITH THE SIZE OF THE FITTING AND WONT FOWL WITH THE INSPECION PORT.
STEP 4 FROM HERE YOU NEED TO RUN A FUEL LINE TO AN ELECTIC FUEL PUMP AND ON TO THE FUEL TANK. THE FUEL PUMP NEEDS TO BE MOUNTED WITH THE INLET ABOUT 30-40MM HIGHER THAN THE FITTING IN THE BOWL. I HAVE MY PUMP ON A TOGLE SWITCH. I TURN THE PUMP ON WHEN I COME TO A HILL OR BAD SIDE ANGLE AND IT WORKS VERY WELL
AN EXTRA FITTING ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BOWL WILL MAKE THIS SYSTEM ALLMOST PREFECT.
REMEMBER THE STANDARD CARB WILL BE AT ITS WORST ON A STEEP HILL BECAUSE THE FLOAT IN THE FRONT BOWL OPENS FULLY ON AN UPHILL OF ONLY 15DEGREES. I HAVE NOT WORKED OUT HOW TO HAVE THE PUMP KICK AUTOMATICLY, I HOPE TO PICK SAMS BRAINS FOR AN ANSWER. I HAVE A FEW IDEAS IM GOING TO WORK ON.
OH AND THE RETURN PUMP MUST PUMP FASTER THAN THE SUPPLY PUMP, I USE A HOLLEY BLUE FOR THE RETURN PUMP MOUNTED ON THE FIREWALL
I HOPE THIS MAKES SENSE, I AM PULLING HE HEADS OFF FOR SOME PORT WORK NEXT WEEKEND, I;LL TAKE SOME PHOTOS ND POST THEM UP SO YOU CAN SEE WHAT I HAVE DONE.

Glen's Holley Blue ...
Glen,
How long have you had the Holley Blue running in this configuration, as the return pump?

Or just put a Q-JET on it for the same or better result. They are 795cfm in stock form and can be made to flow to 1000cfm with a few mods. They are THE carb for offroad. I have used both and the Rochester is much better at angles.
