where would be the best place to get a reverse switch for a WT 5speed box.
my reverse light are on as soon as i turn on the ignition but will turn off if i disconect one of the wires from the switch.
1999 SQ625 Manual Grand Vitara. Lifted, Twin Locked, 31' Extremes, dual Batteries, Winch.
Lots of custom gear as I cant afford the proper stuff.

This can happen if you screw the switch too far into the gearbox

anyone know which one is the reverse switch?
i took all the switches out of the gear box and now i dont know where they all go doh!

ahhh, the joys of a trailer queen. I never connected mine, just ran a switch on the dash

What do the overtop switches do? does it matter if not connected.

im not 100% sure.. but they work off the top gears and one cuts fuel the other i have no idea...

I don't have any connected, not even reverse
as there is no provision in the 1.o litre wiring for them.
My car runs fine, tho I guess less fuel efficient and less ecologically nice.
they alter fuel mixture a a certain load/heat/speed for better emissions etc. They connect to all sorts of wires, vaccuum hoses, thermo housing, and thingz

I got a switch too, though i also got spotties as reverse lights, as its not always good to blind another driver when you just straightening up a park.
