i know that you can buy supercharger kits from capa but was wondering if you can use other superchargers as the kits from capa are approx$6000. or does anyone make up manifold etc if i just buy chrger.also has anyone turboed a 4.5 and if so what size turbo intercooler you have used. any help would be greatly appreciated

mate of mine turbo'd his 4.5 GU petrol. Used a Safari kit Big horsepower...lots of teething problems, but it is very much sorted.

Has a large turbo. Not much change out of 12K I think

yes 12000 is about right for inter cooled turbo done properly, i understand that super charge creats big over heating problems for not much gain, i could be wrong :D
if you want it done properly do it yourself
