Spring Over Kit - Anyone know where to buy a kit?

Most of the US vendors do SPOA kits. Dont know about sourcing locally...

yeah i'm happy to let him make his own mistakes :lol:

for the effort of a proper SOA conversion (turning knuckles, high steering, new leaf packs) you're better off going coils and getting all the benefits that it brings
or you could tune your SUA set up

if you want to get a SOA done locally, 4Play Offroad would be a good place to start enquiries

Maybe a SOA is not what i need then. I am happy with the standard hight as this is only a toy for the weekend so i don't care what a dent or scratch underneath or anywhere else, i just need a bit more wheel travel. Is there any simpler mods that can improve this?

You could try slightly longer shackles (for off road use only

of course )

30mm longer.

they can change handling, so don't go too long, if you still want it daily driveable.

I chose the length by disconnecting the top shackle mount, letting the shocker fall to full extension, then I made the shackle long enough to fill gap...in your case could be different length, as mine are old man emu suspension.

We have everything needed for spring over conversions. There isn't a 'kit' as such because theres so many variations in what poeple have to work with and how far they want to go.

before you rush off and buy something do a little research. This sort of thing has been discussed about 1 million times on here before. All sorts of suspension mods are discussed so take the time to read up about it. Also as Chris said check out the Suzuki Club.

From what I have seen of the vicco club Iâ€™d say you would really benefit from a little snooping around.

BTW what tires you running and are you planning anything different? If itâ€™s a real budget toy look at some of Chrisâ€™s frog. Plenty of low budget stuff to get it running well

this is about all i can get in regards to wheel travel, you can see the back wheel pickup up on this small drop.

slightly longer shackles helps. you can also trawl the wrecker fer shox long enuff, and with correct fittings to suit the extra from the shackles...
car shocks are usually ok on light vehicles like zooks...
people on here have done this, they may be able to tell you best cars to look at...

also check to see if spring is running out of droop, or is it the shock running out of length.

some people remove leaves from the springs, but I not know if thats good or not

Take the shocks off and try that flexin again to see whats limiting it.

Try longer shackles and RUF with the std rear springs maybe as well.

If you can fab a bit. maybe a 3/4 rear?

the front travel is fairly good fer a stocker though.

I use OME springs and shox, they are good but not cheap (bought 9 years ago when had money) they only just starting to fail
